The Irish Security Industry Association is the only trade association representing the full spectrum of security services of all sizes in Ireland. Founded in 1972 the ISIA represents companies involved in the following areas:
SECURITY SYSTEMS (Intruder and fire alarms, CCTV and access control
ALARM RECEIVING CENTRES
PHYSICAL SECURITY (supply of locks/safes/gates/barriers/grilles etc)
SECURITY CONSULTANTS
PRIVATE INVESTIGATION
ISIA Members include small, medium and large indigenous and international companies operating throughout Ireland. ISIA members companies represent approximately 60% of those employed in the industry (20,000) and 70% of the turnover, estimated at €1.2 billion
Our mission statement states that "The ISIA will represent its members across the spectrum of the private security industry and will promote, develop and maintain the highest professional standards for its members."
