We've launched our own independently monitored quality programme, QUALSEC which has been endorsed by both An Garda Siochana and the Private Security Authority. |

The ISIA has representatives in Security Congress of Ireland, on the board of the PSA and on the security industry's Joint Labour Committee. We also participate in various European Working Committees on standards and training through CoESS.
We monitor and alert members on matters of state regulation, as well as other Governmental requirements and provide the facility to lobby the relevant bodies including the PSA, Government Departments, An Garda Siochana etc |

| The ISIA publishes the only magazine exclusively dedicated to the security industry in Ireland. Secureview aims to encapsulate the developments, issues and views of the security industry. Published quarterly, the magazine has a distribution list of 5000 which includes end-users, key influencers of the purchase of security services, government ministers and departments and all security providers. |

| The ISIA is at the forefront of raising standards within the security industry and to that end we launched QUALSEC earlier in the year. However, we are the first to recognise that achieving and maintaining standards can be expensive. Through our association with CerticCS, we have agreed a ONE STOP SHOP for inspections of all standards for the industry which offers substantial savings in both time and money for our members. |

| INSURANCE DISCOUNTS |

| We have developed a number of insurance scheme which offer substantial savings to ISIA member companies. These include: |

| Member companies have reported savings of between €3,500 and €10,000 on their exising Death in Service schemes. |
|
| Member companies have saved 50% on their exising Fleet policies. One company with a premium of €3,500 for 3 vehicles was quoted €1,700. |

| Travelers Insurance recognise our Qualsec Standard and offer discounts of 5% for the Silver standard, 10% for Gold and 15% for Platinum. |
|
| Hibernian Aviva Health provide a 10% discount on Health Insurance Premiums to members of the ISIA. |

| COMPLAINTS & DISCIPLINARY PROCEDURES |
|
| Members of the ISIA must observe a Code of Ethical Conduct. We have a complaints and disciplinary procedure through which customers or other security operators can refer should a complaint or problem arise against a member company. |

| RECRUITMENT |
|
| We participate in the Central Staff Recruitment Bureau and offer a free recruitment facility and advertise job vacanies on our website free of charge. |
| |
|
| We accept membership from Business Affiliates who can offer products or services relevant to our members. Where possible and appropriate, we negotiate discounted rates for members. |
