SUBSTANTIAL SAVINGS FROM NEW ISIA DEATH IN SERVICE SCHEME

4th February 2009 Barry Brady, Executive Director

The ISIA has teamed up with Insure.ie, one of Ireland’s largest Insurance Brokers, to provide our members with highly competitive rates for Death in Service cover.

Underwritten by Irish Life, Group Life Cover is life assurance provided by a company for its employees. It provides a lump sum on the death of a member of a scheme. The lump sum is paid to trustees who pay the beneficiary and is not subject to income tax.

SAVINGS OF UP TO €10,000*

Some ISIA member companies who have changed from the NUSE endorsed Death in Service Scheme to the ISIA Scheme have enjoyed SAVINGS OF UP TO €10,000.

Mr Ken O'Reilly, Operations Director, Synergy Security Group was one of the first ISIA member companies to benefit: "I am delighted to endorse the ISIA-Death in Service Scheme, which in its first year, has saved our company nearly €10,000 alone on our policy. No gimmicks, no sign up costs, just the lowest premiums, with an even better offering for our staff. Up until last week my options were very limited, now thanks to this ISIA initiative, we can continue to drive our intangible business costs downward, while maintaining the full benefits of the scheme".

Mr Brian Kennedy, Director, Kennedy Security and Consultancy Limited concurs with Ken: “As a company we have found that since signing up to the ISIA Death in Service Scheme we have made considerable savings. We have nearly halved our premium for 2009. I have found Irish Life to be very proactice and accomodating in my dealings withy them so far and would recommend other ISIA Quality Driven companies to seriously consider their scheme. The scheme itself offers much more in terms of cover to employees of my company”
