The ISIA is at the forefront of raising standards within the security industry and to that end we launched QUALSEC earlier in the year. However, we are the first to recognise that achieving and maintaining standards can be expensive. The UK based company, Insight Certification, has launched a new approvals and certification body, CerticCS in Ireland. The ISIA has negotiated a package for a ONE STOP SHOP for inspections of all standards for the industry. We believe these will not alone be very cost effective but will also have added value in that this body is very supportive where improvement needs are identified.
We have agreed pricing for guarding services standards and systems standards on the basis of a two year agreement. The costs quoted below may, if members wish, be paid on a quarterly basis to assist cash flow.
