The provision of guarding services is a licensable activity and companies providing these services must hold a license from the Private Security Authority. In addition to the requirements of licensing, the members of the ISIA’s guarding division will all meet the requirements of Qualsec, the ISIA’s own quality standard. The Qualsec standard has three tiers and the guarding companies listed below will meet Qulasec Silver, Qualsec Gold or Qulasec Platinum.

If you are seeking a company to provide guarding services, security officers (security guards, static guards) door supervisors, alarm response, key holding, please look through the various downloads available below for guidance on selecting a security supplier, contact any of our members listed below directly or visit the find a supplier section of our site to get a quote from an ISIA member that meets your specific requirements.

Selecting a Supplier:

The ISIA developed a guidance document for companies seeking to procure the services of a security company. This document should assist you in the selection process and when drafting a tender document for the purpose of seeking a security company.

The European Confederation of Security Services (CoESS) and European Union Organisation (Europa) created a manual, Selecting Best Value, for organisations awarding contracts for private security services.
